Propylene-ethylene copolymers
Our propylene-ethylene copolymers are highly amorphous copolymers of propylene and ethylene with plastomeric to elastomeric properties. They have a high elasticity, toughness and chemical resistance. In addition, due to the Metallocene-based manufacturing process, they have a narrow molecular weight distribution. This provides them with a defined melting point and a high degree of purity.
Industries
TER Chemicals offers propylene-ethylene copolymers for the modification of polyolefins and rubbers. In this, they are used primarily to positively influence the flexibility, impact resistance and processability. Furthermore, these polymers are used as a base polymer in thermoplastic adhesive systems. Another application is the production of bitumen and TPO roofing membranes.
